Fort Bend
County Health & Well-being Project
Many thanks to all of you who participated
in the assessment of the local public health
system. Our Fort Bend County Health &
Well-being Project at Safari Texas last year
was a great success.
One of the strong points of our assessment
was the chance to bring together so many
community partners who are interested in
improving the health of our community and
its citizens.
Using the results of this assessment, in
conjunction with the Fort Bend County
Community Health Status Assessment and the
George Foundation County Needs Assessment,
it will be exciting to move forward with
planning and implementing appropriate
strategies for change in Fort Bend County.
The results of each of the assessments can
be seen on our web page
http://www.co.fort-bend.tx.us/getsitepage.asp?sitepage=3182
. The results of the public health system
assessment are [downloadable
here] for your convenience.
The Fort Bend County Health & Well-being
Project will be convening soon to move
forward with this effort.
We look forward to working with you and
appreciate your assistance.
Yours truly,
Jean N. Galloway, MD, Director
