• Stay connected through our commitment to our stakeholders by having a presence at various community events throughout the year, providing a community calendar of events for wellness related activities on the SUSL website and by partnering with FBISD SHAC, Healthy Mondays restaurants, and health care providers in the community.
• Raise awareness through activities such as Health Needs a Hero film screening with FBISD SHAC about youth obesity, and through the SUSL website which offers a one stop shop for information on healthy eating, health and wellness, fitness, recipes, coupons, and various wellness resources/events.
• Encourage activities that foster healthy lifestyle through fitness challenges such as Walk Around Sugar Land and Art Walk in the Park, and through our Youth committee’s volunteer efforts during community events such as USA Fit Sugar Land Marathon .
